Brief Description

About the Role

Securecorp currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Security Officer to provide exceptional customer service and emergency response at a retail site based in Helensvale.

This is a full-time permanent position working a 4 days on / 4 days off roster, consisting of 12-hour shifts across days and nights. The role is paid at Level 4 under the Security Services Industry Award, plus First Aid allowance.

Roster

  • S3 control room position, 4on / 4off roster - 2 days/2 night : 0600-1800 & 1800-0600

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of security and customer service
  • Guard, patrol, monitor and control assigned premises
  • Respond to emergencies, alarms and calls for assistance
  • Assess and manage situations of risk
  • Conduct access control duties
  • Perform CCTV control room operations
  • Complete incident reports and maintain accurate data logs

Skills & Experience

  • Current Security Licence
  • Control Room Licence and Crowd Control endorsement
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Impeccable presentation
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters including nights and weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Professional attitude with a positive and proactive approach
