Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a QC Supervisor to lead quality control operations for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and oversight for laboratory operations supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing
Mentor and develop QC staff while maintaining compliance with cGMP standards and regulatory requirements
Manage laboratory operations including scheduling, resource planning, and process improvements
Develop SOPs, conduct investigations, and prepare regulatory documentation
Support regulatory audits and inspections while ensuring data integrity
Requirements
Advanced degree plus 3 years pharmaceutical/biotech QC experience, or bachelor's degree plus 5 years with 2+ years leadership
Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related scientific field
Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and quality systems
Experience with analytical testing methods and instrumentation (HPLC, GC, dissolution testing)
Proven team leadership and ability to foster quality-focused culture
Proficiency with LIMS, quality management software, and Microsoft Office
Experience with regulatory audits, investigations, risk assessment, and root cause analysis
