Human Resource Coordinator in Alexandria, Australia

Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Human Resource Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the HR function including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong understanding of Australian employment legislation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews & participating in panel interviews, and conducting reference checks
• Issue employment contracts and schedule onboarding activities
• Develop and support induction plans with the primary managers
• Develop, maintain and deliver training initiatives with the support of the relevant SME.
• Administer and support managers through the remuneration process including salary benchmarking.
• Administer performance management cycle including probation reviews and performance reviews
• Act as the HR system custodian including updating employment records and ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
• Assist with employee relations issues, including investigations and conflict resolution
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
• Maintain confidentiality of all HR-related information
• Drafting HR monthly reports and maintaining HR metrics

Experience & Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• 2+ years of experience in HR coordination or related role
• Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems preferable Employment Hero
