Summary:
The Fleet & Maintenance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the company’s fleet. This position is responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance schedules, managing repairs, and optimising fleet performance to support the overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule regular maintenance and repairs for the fleet vehicles.
Monitor vehicle performance and implement strategies for optimisation.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Liaise with external service providers and suppliers to ensure timely service delivery.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the procurement of new vehicles and equipment as needed.
Prepare reports on fleet performance and maintenance costs for management review.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in logistics, fleet management, or a related field.
Proven experience in fleet management or vehicle maintenance coordination.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and safety regulations.
