About the role
We’re looking for a high-performing, culture-connected Business Development Manager to continue bringing Fresh Clinics to aesthetic businesses across Australia. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day sending cold emails. We want the person who lives and breathes the aesthetics industry, someone whose natural habitat is a supplier night, an industry conference, or a new clinic launch.
You’re not just a salesperson; you’re a super-connector. Building a network isn’t a task on your to-do list, it’s in your DNA. You have that genuine "spark" that makes people want to work with you, generating referrals wherever you go because people trust your word.
Reporting directly to our Acquisition Team Lead , you’ll own the outbound motion for our mid-to-large clinic segment, alongside other BDMs. You know that the best sales are built on deep relationship trust, and you genuinely want to partner clinics with an ecosystem that will scale their business, not push something they don’t need. You're always firing, always testing new angles, and completely unafraid to think outside the box to see what lands.
What you'll do
- Your Pipeline & End-to-End Sales Process: You own the journey from first touch to close. You don't wait around for leads or lists to be handed to you, you’re out there actively finding them yourself because you know exactly where to go, who to talk to, and how to start. You'll immediately tap into your existing networks, activate relationships, and create momentum from scratch to hit the ground running and smash outbound acquisition targets.
- Industry Presence & Networking: You’ll be the face of Fresh at industry events, conferences, supplier nights, and clinic launches. This kind of engagement genuinely fills your cup, you don't see it as "part of the job," you see it as the ultimate opportunity to get the right people in one room, make a larger impact, and turn casual conversations into strong pipelines and organic referrals.
- The Problem Solver & Trust-Based Partner: You don't just see another acquisition; you genuinely want to solve real problems for future members. Through thorough, empathetic consultations, you dig deep to understand their specific pain points and showcase exactly how Fresh can resolve them. You see the whole picture, from community support and single-platform supplier access to clinical training, dedicated account management, complications management, and compliance. You know that Fresh is the rising tide that lifts all boats, and you sell with the conviction that when we work together, we make the entire industry better and everyone’s business more successful.
- The Maverick Experimenter: You don't just blindly follow a generic playbook. You understand that every state, every region, and every prospect requires a different hook to resonate. You are constantly testing what works and what doesn't, carving out your own path to engagement. Whether you are re-activating ex-members, pitching to large corporate groups, or mentoring individual nurses looking to launch their first business, you adapt your angle perfectly. You actually love failing fast because you know it means you tried, you learned, and you are just one iteration closer to a breakthrough strategy that will smash records.
- HubSpot & Pipeline Rigour: HubSpot is your strategic tool, not a chore. You run a clean pipeline, keep your activity highly visible, and provide honest, data-backed forecasting.
- Seamless Cross-Functional Handovers: You’ll collaborate tightly with Marketing on lead quality and partner with our Onboarding team to ensure every clinic’s first experience with Fresh is flawless.
We'd love you to have
- Proven Outbound Sales Hustle: 2–3+ years of experience in outbound BDM or Account Executive roles—ideally in SaaS, professional services, or healthcare. Bonus points if you already live and work in the aesthetics space.
- Target-Driven & Number-Motivated: You are genuinely motivated by targets, KPIs, and sales numbers. Where others see a quota as intimidating or scary, you see it as a scorecard and fuel. You love the thrill of chasing a number and find the push to hit and exceed your goals genuinely exciting.
- An Obsession with Aesthetics & Clinical Advice: You genuinely love this industry. You’re entirely comfortable speaking peer-to-peer with business owners/Aesthetic Doctors and RNs, acting as a trusted advisor who can offer real, strategic support and business advice, rather than just running a pitch script.
- The Scale-Up Growth Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment where the only consistency is change. You aren't rattled by evolving processes; you embrace them because it means we are constantly bettering ourselves and delivering more value to our members.
- The "Spark" and a Natural Network: You have a magnetic personality that instantly builds rapport. You love the social, networking side of the job and naturally connect people wherever you go.
- Relationship-Driven Selling Philosophy: You know how to ask the hard questions and close with confidence, but you lead with deep empathy. You want the clinic to feel like they won when they partner with us.
- HubSpot Literacy: You understand the value of CRM data over vibes. You run a tight pipeline, manage your sequences properly, and use the CRM to scale your own output.
- No Need for a Micro-Manager: You have the discipline to structure your day, hit high-volume targets, and light your own fire. You take massive accountability for your own success.
