Experienced Barista

Great Jones is a new restaurant on High Street, Armadale. After nearly four weeks of trading, we've been consistently busy and are looking to add another experienced Barista to our team as we continue to grow.

Built by hospitality operators with years of experience running cafés and restaurants in New York City, Great Jones is a restaurant-led venue serving exceptional coffee from morning through to afternoon, alongside a thoughtful, produce-driven food offering and carefully curated wine, beer and cocktail program.

We're looking for someone with strong experience working on coffee in genuinely high-volume venues. You should be comfortable moving quickly, maintaining quality under pressure and working as part of a busy, collaborative team.

About the Role

You'll be working within an established coffee program that has been doing significant volume since opening. Consistency, speed and organisation are essential — we're looking for someone who can step into a busy service and confidently hold their own on the machine.

You'll be responsible for:

• Producing consistently high-quality coffee throughout high-volume services.

• Dialling in and maintaining espresso quality throughout the day.

• Strong milk texturing and latte art.

• Working quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality.

• Keeping the coffee section clean, organised and well stocked.

• Communicating effectively with the rest of the team.

• Supporting the wider FOH team when required.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has solid specialty coffee experience in busy, high-volume venues.

• Is confident working through sustained rushes without sacrificing quality.

• Has strong espresso knowledge, milk texturing and latte art skills.

• Works cleanly and stays organised under pressure.

• Is reliable, professional and a strong communicator.

• Enjoys working as part of a fast-paced hospitality team.

• Has good availability.

• RSA is required
